I Dare You

For creators

You are in control. Nothing is visible until you claim it, you set the minimum, and you keep 97.5% of every pot you complete.

Discovering dares aimed at you

Dares aimed at your handle are hidden from the public board until you claim them. Two ways to find them:

  • Visit For You after linking your social account. Dares aimed at your handle will appear there.
  • Someone shares the dare link directly with you. That link works even before the dare is claimed.

Linking your account

To claim a dare, you need to prove you own the handle it was aimed at. Connect your wallet, then sign in with the platform (Twitch or Twitter/X) from the dare page or the For You dashboard.

  • Supported platforms: Twitch, Twitter / X, Discord.
  • One wallet can be linked to multiple handles across different platforms.
  • Your linked accounts show on your creator profile.

Claiming a dare

Once you are on the dare page and your handle is linked, you will see a claim prompt. Claiming posts a small refundable ETH performance bond (returned when you deliver proof) and sets two things:

The floor

The minimum pot size to make you perform. If the pot never reaches your floor, you are not obligated to do anything and backers get refunded. Set it to reflect what the dare is worth to you.

Stretch goals (optional)

Escalating tiers above your floor. Each tier unlocks an additional challenge when backers push the pot past that threshold. Tiers must be in ascending order. Backers can see and fund toward them.

  • You are only bound to the tiers the pot actually reaches.
  • You define what each tier requires - the crowd cannot add obligations you did not set.

After claiming

Once you claim, the dare becomes visible on the public board. When the pot hits your floor, it locks: the escrow binds, backers can no longer refund, and your performance window starts.

Submitting proof

Go to the dare page and use the proof submission panel. Three options:

  • Record live in the browser (video).
  • Upload a photo or video file.
  • Paste a public link to proof already posted (tweet, clip, etc.).

Proof is attached onchain. Once submitted, the 3-day dispute window starts.

Getting paid

After 3 days with no successful dispute, the pot becomes withdrawable. Collect it (and your returned bond) from the Wallet page. You keep 97.5%; 2.5% goes to the platform.

  • Winnings and the returned bond are withdrawn to the wallet you claimed with; the escrow pays by withdrawal, not automatically.
  • If someone disputes, the platform reviews the proof against the dare description and rules.
  • If you win the dispute, the pot releases. If you lose, backers are refunded.

You are always in control

A dare aimed at you is invisible until you claim it. You set the floor, you define the escalation tiers, and you choose whether to perform. Money cannot buy you past what you chose to do.
